YOUTH FUN CENTER
TEXPEX offers a free full program of activites for youngsters of all ages during three days of the show. Members of the Dallas-Park Cities Philatelic Society operate the Youth Fun Center that is open to beginners as well as accomplished young collectors.

The Dallas-Park Cities Philatelic Society meets at 7:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays at the Edgemere Retirement Center, 8523 Thackery St., Dallas, Texas 75225. Meetings include progams, sales circuits and aucitons. The society is Texas Philatelic Association Chapter 40. Founded as the Park Cities Philatelic Society in 1961, the club merged with the Dallas Philatelic Society in 2001. The 2010 officers are Harry Pedersen, president; Douglas Moss, vice president; Samuell Phillippi, secretary; Jack Urish, treasurer; Dr. Harold Boehning, director; Scott Hunter, director; Jerold Plumb, director; and Ron Gabel, director.
