TEXPEX offers a convenient mid-continent location for annual meetings and conferences of national and international philatelic societies. As an APS World Series of Philately Show TEXPEX offers a top-of-the-line exhibition for convening societies and a full service hotel.

A new national society meeting at APS AmeriStamp Expo/TEXPEX 2009 is the Mexico Elmhurst Philatelic Society International (MESPI). Additional regional societies are expected to meeting during the 2009 show.

TEXPEX serves as the annual meeting location of the Texas Philatelic Association and the TPA Foundation. At the TEXPEX Awards Banquet, the TPA presents its annual awards and honors a new Distinguished Philatelic Texan.

The show is also the site of an annual Texas Postal History Society meeting, Universal Ship Cancellation Society Nimitz Chapter meeting, the new C.R. Smith Chapter of the American Air Mail Society, American First Day Cover Society Chapter 56 meeting and Texas Precancel Club meeting.

In the past national meetings of the U.S. Philatelic Classics Society, United States Stamp Society, Carriers and Locals Society, American Revenue Association, Universal Ship Cancellation Society, Military Postal History Society, Society of Australasian Specialists Oceania, British-Caribbean Philatelic Study Group, Confederate Stamp Alliance, China Stamp Society, and the Scouts On Stamps Society International have been held at TEXPEX.
